Check, Check, Check!

Chris and I worked on wedding stuff this evening. We got so much done - stemware for wedding party - check. Honeymoon flights - check. Gifts for special assistants/participants in wedding ceremony - check. Red candles - check (Tiff, we need to buy 6 more ivory ones for hurricane lamps). Anyway, I feel like we got a lot done tonight.
Mom and I got my veil on Tuesday and I'm getting fitted for my dress again Monday night. Yeah - it definitely has to be let out about 2". There's nothing I can do about my big rib cage. Not sure how we ever got it zipped!

FYI: 2 MONTHS!

Just a little F.Y.I. the wedding is in 2 months. If you haven't been in touch with me or Tiffany Pacheco lately, now's a good time to. We want to make sure everyone is on the same track. We don't have much longer to finish things up.
Things on my list:
Mail out invitations early part of next week.
Design, print, and assembly programs.
Get Chris and Calvin's gifts.
Finish other gifts.
VEIL!
Decide on church decorations.
Finalize reception plans.
Pick out wedding music and meet w/ DJ.
Meet with vocalists, trumpet player, and organist to decide on ceremony music.
BOOK FLIGHT FOR HONEYMOON! Puerto Rico here we come!!!
Buy a cake knife.
Finish pictures for centerpieces.
Program digi pic frame.
Decide on videographer/someone to videotape wedding.

Overall, I think I'm in pretty good shape with the wedding plans. BTW, we decided to ask Tammy & Jeremy Buening to be our Master & Mistress of Ceremonies. Tammy was thrilled. :-)

BRIDESMAID DRESSES ARE IN!

The Bridal Outlet called - your dresses are in... EARLY! We need to pick a date to drive there - I can drive there by myself - no biggie - maybe meet Amy there if possible. Amy, if you can't go I can always ship your dress to you. I have class almost every day until December 12th - so I'd like to go after that if that's okay w/ everyone. I'm not sure how it all works for those of you who paid 1/2 of your bill - I will figure it all out.

Groom's Gift

Anyone have ANY ideas on what to get Chris for the wedding??? I have a couple ideas... but to be honest I think he'd rather have a case of Sam Adam's over my gift ideas! ;-) All ideas welcome!!!
ALSO... we want to get the Calvster something special. Any ideas??? Amy - did you guys get Jax a gift?

Don't ask

On my wedding day... please do not ask my why my Grandpa Kenny and Grandma Eva aren't there. They just won't be there. No good excuse. I'm pissed. And, I'm sure I won't want to be reminded of it then. Thanks. And yes... it is crappy of them!

Bridesmaid Dresses

I called to check on the dresses today. Tentative ship date: 12/12. I really don't understand why it's taking so long - but so be it. That should still give everyone enough time for alterations if needed.

WEEKEND!

This past weekend was very productive.
Invitations - assembled - just need addressed!
Topiary Balls - all centerpiece and 1 standing finished! Just need to do the 3 other standing ones. Need more rods for that!
THIS IS HUGE! Everything is coming together.
Thank-you to EVERYONE who has helped with the invitations and topiary balls. I couldn't have done it without you!

Flowers

I think I might just have all of the wedding flowers, now. Yippee! Tiffany and I picked up the last of them yesterday. If anything, we might just need a few more for topiary balls - but we won't know for sure until we get these flowers used up.

It's been awhile

Sorry girls - I've been pretty busy lately with school and stuff that I forgot to post wedding stuff. Quick recap:
Picked up Chris's ring today - looks great on him.
Picked up all but one order of flowers - just need 3 more on this order.
I ordered 29 more bouquets for the topiary balls - I bought 34 bunches today - Tiff and Tiff... let's get to work on these - then maybe I won't need all 29 others I ordered. I have a plan to cut down on how many flowers we've been using. :-)
INVITATIONS!!! The invitations are awesome. If I'd just decide on a tab thingy majiggy we'd be good to go on the design. THANK-YOU to Susan, Chelsea, Dawn, Tiffany, Mom, Chris... and most of all Billi for all the help! Thursday night was so productive! Almost done! BILLI - you are a genius and a true leader. You have an amazing talent with cards! Thank-you! Please bring Louis over again soon to play with Calvin!
Also invitations - Mom and Denise please get me your addresses by November 5th. Invitations will go out the first week of December.
BIG news for Dawn D. ---- FIRST, she organized an extremely successful benefit for her mom and step-father who have both fought cancer and beat it... now, her mom's cancer is back. I am confident that this strong woman will beat it again and still feel like she's 25. However, please keep Marilyn in your thoughts and prayers. SECOND... Dawn and Weldon bought a house!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
We're still waiting for Alicia to post some of her engagement/wedding info on here and show us all pictures of her ring! I saw it in some pics she emailed and it is beautiful!!!
Anybody know where we can get risers for the head table at???
I got to see Daelyn's "married clothes" last week - beautiful! Wow... really breathtaking. She will be a little princess!

CAKE!!

The cake looks beautiful and sounds really yummy! I love that you guys picked out a flavor different than the norm. Looking forward to the wedding!

The tuxes

We had all intentions of shopping around for tuxes. There are like 3 places around here to go. Well, I overslept this morning - grrr - so we didn't have time to go tuxedo shopping before picking up Calvin from Aaron's. So, after picking up Calvin we went to Weber's. Calvin is a pretty good boy - but, he's two, curious, and has more energy than me on Red Bull. So, trying to look at the tuxedo catalog and chase him wasn't easy. Also, let me say that there are WAY more choices for tuxes than I had ever dreamt of! Anyway, we ended up picking out the tuxes at Webers because we were happy with our choice and didn't want to deal with Calvin at another store. The tuxes are awesome - we couldn't be happier with them. I am sure you all will approve, too. :-)

The Cake

Mom and I picked out a cake last week. I know Chris and I had thought about doing miniature cakes or cupcakes, but the miniature cakes were ruled out by the baker who said it wasn't humanly possible for 1 person to make 400 miniature cakes in a reasonable amount of time - at least 4 days without sleep. I didn't argue. I wouldn't stay up that long! I decided that cupcakes weren't a right fit for our wedding. So, this cake is very similar to what we will have - except the fake flowers will be rolled icing roses in various shades of ivory, champagne, and golds cascading down the cake. The cake topper is beautiful - we picked it out together. It's called the Circle of Love. Oh, and the cake is yellow and strawberry flavored... interesting... but delicious. Anyway, just thought you'd like to see a picture of a similar cake. Cake is exciting. :-)

Soon To Be Bride... Alicia!

Chris's sister, Alicia is newly engaged!!! Congratulations, Alicia! Cole proposed to her last night. Very romantic story, but I'll let her tell everyone. Chris and I are extremely happy for Alicia and Cole. This is a very exciting time for them!
Alicia - post a picture of you guys... and your ring when you get a chance! Can't wait to see you guys over Thanksgiving! CONGRATULATIONS!

Friday's Shopping Trip

Friday's shopping trip to Champaign was successful! Amber and Amanda found their usherette dresses! :-) That was the goal of the day so I can proudly say that we exceeded our goals by getting a lot more done! Shopping in the morning for the dresses - both are adorable! :-) Lunch at Chevy's - yummm! Then, Tiffany P and I did some serious shopping.
First, let me say that Tiffany and I are very similar in our organization skills. So, we went to Champaign with a checklist, calculator, and measuring tape. The day before, we counted all of the flowers to make sure we got everything we needed.
So, on Friday we either bought or ordered the rest of the flowers, decided on decorations for the bar, got 30 yards of tulle, looked for a cake knife, bought the final touches for some of the decorations, bought me clothes for the upcoming engagement pictures and 3 pairs of shoes, and picked up Chelsea's dress. It was a productive day!
I'm hoping I don't have to go shopping again too soon. I will have to drive up there again when the ordered flowers are in and to pick up Chris's ring when it comes in. Otherwise, I think I have just about everything. :-)

Daelyn's Married Dress

We got Daelyn's "Married" Dress yesterday.

She's super excited.

I practically had to peel it off her last night.

Reception

Tiffany P and I spent some quality time at Stone's Throw... not just enjoying tasty strawberry daquiries, either... but they sure were good! We totally got the reception, head table, cake table, etc figured out. With or without risers, we have a good layout for the head table using the alternate dancefloor for the dance. Overall, we thank we have a good layout that will help to make everyone in the L shaped room feel involved. We had to use some serious skills today with the tape measure and cell phone calculator - but we confirmed we're on track with the amount of centerpieces and enough seating for everyone.
I gotta say that "happy" doesn't even begin to explain how I feel about the Stone's Throw experience. Mike, Ross, and Andrea have all been great!
Tomorrow, Amber and Amanda are shopping for their usherette dresses. So, we're heading out for another day shopping! Tiffany P. and I have a long list of things we need to pick up like more flowers, 60 yards of tulle, 10 red candles, etc. I feel like I am so close to having everything we need. Tiffany P. and I joked that after my wedding we'll be ready to be professional wedding planners! :-) hahahaha
Thank-you to everyone for their suggestions and input - it helps so much! Elizabeth... if the we get over 350 RSVP's we might need your architectural skills for the cramped seating space! If we stay under 350 we will be in great shape!

Head table...

Came up with this possible layout with or without risers I think it might work - even thought it will take up a little space. What do you think? Sorry the drawing's not that good - it was in Paint... so I did the best I could! :-)

head table thoughts...

Hey Christina, saw the info about the head table and was wondering if you need to have everyone actually sit at the "head table"? I mean, honestly that's alot of people, and I don't think you would hurt anyones feelings if you had only a few people up there...ya know, maid of honor best man... or how about even just you and Chris, and a little romantic table for 2? After all, it's your day...... Remember, you won't have much alone time with him that day, so having a chance to sit down and eat just with your new hubby might be relaxing....my advice, keep it simple. You could always have a few tables of wedding party people or just mix us all throughout the rest of the tables at the reception....just an idea. I don't think it's a wedding rule to keep everyone together....and to be honest..my feelings won't be hurt if I'm not sitting up in front of everyone! love ya, Amy

head table ideas

I'm looking for ideas on how to set up the head table. There are a total of 24 people in the wedding counting me and chris but excluding Calvin and Daelyn since they probably won't sit at the head table because they will still need help with their food. So... anyway 24 people at a head table is a lot. Any ideas on how to set it up? Does anyone know where I can get risers so maybe there would be 2 or 3 levels? I am planning on having tulle infront of the head table with white lights behind it. Obviously behind it all I will have to have a white plastic table skirt so it looks solid. The picture is for behind the head table - there will be different colored curtains - probably red. The sheers come with it. So... ideas? Rebekah G... I know you read this blogspot and have been to lots of weddings at Stone's Throw so do you have any ideas? Do you think it would look stupid if our head table took up the whole wall by the dance floor? Or make a horseshoe shape somehow? Preferably, I don't want to be infront of the DJ bc he will be playing dinner music. Any suggestions are helpful. Tiffany, maybe we can go over to Stone's Throw this week and get some measurements and a possible layout. I want to have a visual so I know how much tulle and stuff I need to get. THANKS!

Lucky

I have been using this blogspot to communicate with the wedding party in all of the planning and coordination of the wedding. But, I haven't mentioned how absoultely in love I am with my extremely handsome fiance, Chris. He is truly a blessing to me and Calvin. He adores us both. Sometimes, it takes hearing about other relationships in a hard spot to realize how good you got it... I know I have it good. I am very lucky to have such a magnificent man to share the rest of my life with.
Last weekend when we were picking out his wedding band, it hit me... we're getting married. I teared up a little with the overwhelming feeling of love.
Right now, Chris and Calvin are at Wal-Mart while I am at home sick from my allergies. He takes very good care of me.
If today you are thinking about someone you love, take the time to compliment that special person. Don't let the day pass by without telling him or her, "I love you".

Daelyn's "Married" clothes

In an afternoon of email communication, Dawn and I picked out Daelyn's flower girl dress... a.k.a "married clothes" as Daelyn calls them. We love the dress. Picture the big flower either off to one side or not on there at all and Daelyn in red patent leather shoes. She is going to be absolutely stunning!

Random Items Of Note

1. Any plans for topiary ball-making this weekend? I'm free. Break out some wine and we're set.

2. And I think I have some champagne-ish shoes that will go with the 'maid dress.

3. Daelyn and I will get our hair done at the French Quarter on your day. Count us in.

4. Daelyn has also asked when she and Calvin were wearing their married clothes.

5. And completely off subject, is there a pumpkin patch anymore?

6. Invitations...when will the assembly line take place?

Checking things off my list

Yesterday, Chris and I went to Chamaign. I needed to exchange some flowers at Hobby Lobby and get some shoes. They were still sold out of the flowers that we bought them out of when Tiffany, Stacy, and I went there! So, I'll order the flowers. Chris and I did get a guest book and more ribbon, my wedding shoes, and his wedding band while we were in Champaign. :-) It was a productive trip. Friday night we also ordered our cake topper - very cute.

Usherettes

Calling all usherettes... I've been looking online to give you girls some ideas of dresses. I really want to make sure that you will buy a "little black dress" that you will wear again. I thought the selection in Indianapolis was poor - especially because they didn't have the right sizes and/or color. And let's face it - the price was definitely not right! I think we'll do better in department stores.
I think I am going shopping w/ Dawn, Amanda, and Amber the Friday of Columbus Day weekend - I think we'll do better in smaller groups. Jess and Chelsea - you girls just need to let me know when you want to go shopping w/ me and mom. :-)
Here are some links for dresses that I thought you might like.

Indy trip

I think overall we did well in Indianapolis. We ordered the bridesmaids dresses. I think they are adorable - but definitely not what we were originally thinking about. Stacy will call on Monday to place her order and then they should be here sometime in December. We did not have as much success with the usherette's dresses. But, we still have some time and their do not have to match. I would just like the usherettes to have nice black dresses - one that you will wear again. Chelsea and Jessica found some that they might order but they're still looking around, I think.
Hobby Lobby and Michael's - very productive! THANK-YOU for EVERYONE's help there! We are very close to having all of the flowers. Dawn D is headed to St. Louis next weekend and she's going to pick up the rest of the roses. Thanks Dawn!
I had a good time in Indy. It gets a little overwhelming with that many people and so much to do. But - we did it! :-) I apologize if I didn't get to talk to anyone very much. I definitely didn't want anyone to feel left out. I however felt like I was being pulled in a million different directions so I don't feel like I got much quality time with you guys. I'm sure there will be more smaller trips and maybe that will be easier.
Anyway, here is a picture of the bridesmaids top - but it will be champagne. Then, they each picked either an A-line skirt or a trumpet skirt. Very cute.

3 amazing women conquered Hobby Lobby!

Yesterday, my cousin Stacy, Tiffany P, and myself headed up to Champaign. We picked out a tentative dress at David's Bridal. Honestly, the dress looked fabulous on both girls. BUT, it doesn't come in the champagne color so I'm not 100% sure on the dress. But, it did give us some guidelines on what kind of style works for every body shape. I am CONFIDENT that we will find THE dress tomorrow.
Later that afternoon we went to Michael's and got a great deal on some thick glass candle holder thingies - too hard to explain. Then, we conquered Hobby Lobby. We decided on 2 different centerpieces. 1st one: topiary ball that will be covered w/ red roses and potted in teracata pots that I will paint black. We actually made one of these yesterday at the store so we'd know how many roses to buy. 2nd centerpiece: A large square piece of glass w/ black and white photos of us under it w/ the thick glass candle holder and a pillar candle on top. It will also be very cute. I have tons of votive cup holders that either I bought or people are letting me borrow that I will take to CandleArt to have filled, and there will also be rose petals on the tables. I hope you can get a visual. I will try to bring the stuff tomorrow so everyone can see it. WE ALSO got just about all the flowers for our bouquets - we are short 20 stems but I will try to find a hobby lobby for us to go to tomorrow to pick up the rest of them. We did sooo awesome yesterday and spent VERY little! :-)
***SHOUT OUT TO TIFFANY P AND STACY! YOU TWO SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME AND STRESS OVER THE DECORATIONS! YOU MADE IT ALMOST TOO EASY FOR ME!***
They also calmed me down when I got overwhelmed over the corsages for the moms, grandma's, and other women. Let's face it these women have to wear the corsage all day so they should look fabulous and I just couldn't figure out something good enough. I will have Ginny S come up with these. :-)

Invitations are picked out!

Today, I met w/ Billi and we decided on an invitation style! She's so creative! She is going to make up a sample one in the next few weeks after Aaron goes back to Afghanistan. I'm really excited about the invitations. If you were invited to Jessica Niebrugge's wedding - then you've seen the style. Kind of hard to explain. We will be setting a date in mid-late October to assemble the invitations. Any help is appreciated. I of course will work w/ Dawn D to schedule a date that works for her after her Mom and Mark's benefit. She has already offered to help. :-) THANKS!!!

Shopping on September 13th

My cousin Stacy can't make it to the September 15th shopping excursion so we are heading to Champaign on Thursday, September 13th. I think my aunt, Dawn is going, too. Anyone is welcome. We are going to David's Bridal and maybe a couple other bridal stores and then going to Michael's and Hobby Lobby for decoration stuff.

Shopping Trip

Just trying to piece together the rest of the details...
What time are we planning on leaving next weekend and where is the meeting point? Also, did you want me to drive? The Tahoe fits 7. And it has a DVD player. Even if we all split the gas in that, it would probably still be cheaper than 2 or more cars going.
I'm free all day and so looking forward to a day of dresses and girls.

My dress

My dress is gorgeous. HUGE thank-you to mom AGAIN for buying me such a spectacular dress! So, the place we got it out removes any name brands so that people don't try on their dresses at their shop and then get all of the brand/designer info and find a cheaper deal. It stinks. So, I'm finding a hard time finding a picture to email everyone. I have a picture in my binder that looks very similar to my dress - might be exact but I'm not 100% sure. This is a picture of a dress very similar to mine. There are some differences like the bottom and the wastline. But, this is the jist of it. No picture posted here incase Chris looks at the blogspot.

Finally figured this out!

Hey everyone! I'm Amy, and I think I'm finally getting the hang of the whole blog thing. Anyway, I'm so excited about the wedding, and soooooo happy for Christina, Chris and Calvin! I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone on the shopping trip! And I can't wait to see Christina's dress!!!!

Just incase you haven't heard...

TIFFANY P IS COMING HOME FOR THE SHOPPING TRIP!!! Recap: Tiffany is my maid of honor that lives in Georgia. :-) I'm so excited. Now, most of the girls will be going on the shopping trip. I still wish Alicia and Elizabeth could make it. You two are going to miss a great time! :-)
3 people have marked that they are not going shopping... who is the 3rd person???

I got my dress!

Mom and I went to Litchfield to a 1/2 off sale today. The last dress I tried on was perfect... absolutely perfect. So, we bought it. I think we both looked at the original price and thought to ourselves that we'd better buy it now while it's 1/2 off because the full price was pretty steep. Anyway, I'd post a picture Chris looks at this site so I can't. I'll have pics for those who don't get to see it before the 9/15 shopping trip.
Can't think of much to say right now. I'm pretty ticked off about a comment I got on my regular blogspot from an anonymous person. You'll see my reply out there for everyone. I'm sure I was pretty hard on the person but I just don't care. I didn't deserve the comment he/she left for me. Some people are just so stupid. I hate the word stupid but it really seems to apply to the commenter.

It's a new week...

It's Monday. It's the beginning of a new week. I'm going to try to leave last week's stress in last week and be better this week!
TO DO LIST FOR THIS WEEK:
1.) Send check to Niemerg's for deposit
2.) Chris search for DJ's
3.) Chris call Fr. Bud to set up time to take Focus test
4.) Finalize the guest list (this is stressing me!)
5.) Finalize the budget
6.) Anyone have ideas for invitations??? Billi J is making them. I'm meeting her 9/6 and want to have some examples of stuff I like. Email me pics at cgoeckner@yahoo.com if you see something you think is cool. Looking for simple, classic, elegant.
7.) Finalize the mass itinerary w/ Chris.
8.) Start 1st draft for programs.

*** Okay... this isn't bad. These are all simple things. I WILL MAKE IT THROUGH THE WEEK w/ minimal medication! hahaha! ***

The French Quarter Salon and Day spa

For the wedding day I have reserved 2-3 beauticians and Loren the make-up artist and awesome nail tech at the French Quarter Salon and Day Spa www.thefrenchquarterspa.com. I am not sure who all wants to go to the French Quarter and who doesn't. It really makes me no difference if you go to the French Quarter or somewhere else or have Stacy (cousin/beautician/bridesmaid) do your hair. Anyway, I will need to know by January 15th exactly how many girls will be getting their hair done at the French Quarter so they can make sure to have enough staff for that morning.
*Also, the day before the wedding I am going to try at some point to get a mani and a pedi... not sure how I will find the time between decorating and the rehearsal but I will. If you want to go with me the day before you are more than welcome - I probably need to know towards the beginning of January to book you. Tiffany P - I already booked you w/ me because I knew you'd want a mani and a pedi, too :-)

Congrats to the lucky couple!

Hey everyone! I am the maid of honor and wanted to say how happy I am to be part of Christina and Chris' big day! I know Christina is feeling very excited but a bit overwhelmed with everything, so we need to keep her in high spirits and laughing. I know we have time to start planning all the fun leading up to the big day, but I like to get things rolling early. I'm going to talk to Christina and see what ideas she has for everything, but I would love to get ideas from everyone. My email is tiffpacheco@yahoo.com and my cell number is 937-609-0067. Please email me and let's start coming up with some fun ideas to make this time fun and memorable for the happy couple. I can't wait to hear from all of you!

Groomsmen & Ushers...

So has Chris officially asked all the guys yet? I was just curious. I couldn't remember who you all said now. I keep missing someone when I try to figure it all out in my head...it's one of those days

STRESS...

This morning I could feel how swollen my left tonsil was. I looked in the mirror and there was a HUGE white spot on it. I tried to pick it off... because I've gotten food stuck on my tonsils before... but it didn't come off. I squeezed in an appointment to the Dr today after class and before work. I cannot completely blame this GIGANTIC white spot on my left tonsil from stress... but the Dr did say it was probably a stress induced ulcer. When he asked if I was under any stress I confessed like I would have to my shrink... I could have cried. I don't expect the stress to get better. In fact, I figure the closer we get to W Day the more stressed I will be. So, I guess I gotta get used to this HUMUNGOUS white spot on my swollen tonsil. If my tonsil gets much bigger it just might have to get it's own dress! LOL!

The Bride & Groom

Dawn pointed out that there are no pictures of me and Chris on this blogspot. Good point. This is a pic from us in Vegas.

Shopping in Fairfield w/ Mom today

Mom and I went to the Farmer's Daughter store in Fairfield today. Of course the 1st well 2nd dress I tried on I absolutely loved. It was soooo awesome! Here are some pics of it... to be extremely honest I think it looked better on me than on this model! She doesn't do it justice. Anyway, I didn't want to buy anything because I knew if I did I would find something even better in Indy. I figured I could always go back to this store if I didn't find something in Indy... WRONG! It takes over 18 weeks to get in this dress so it was either order it today or never... I opted for never because it is a common line - Allure - so I knew I'd probably see it in Indy. Oh well.
On a good note - mom found a couple great outfits for her. I thought they were a little pricey there for the Mother of The Bride dresses... so we're gonna check out Indianapolis. I think if nothing else, Mom was relieved to find dresses that looked GREAT on her!

*** ALSO... Jennifer Hecht is officially booked for the wedding and engagement pictures! *** I'm super thrilled to get her because her work is great and she is super affordable. She will give me an album with over 300 pictures in it and CD's w/ soft copies of the pics for me to order whatever I want from wherever. There is no copyright on the pictures. How great is that?!?

Alicia Ordner - Chris's younger sister
Elizabeth Ordner - Chris's older sister
Stacy Burgener - My cousin

Amanda Heuerman - My cousin
Amber Heuerman - My cousin
Jessica Woods - As close to a stepsister as I have... not sure on the wording for this one. She is my mom's boyfriend of a few year's daughter. I would consider her my stepsister. She is an absolute sweetheart.

Chris hasn't asked all of the groomsmen, yet so they're not listed.

The BIG Day Details... so far...

Saturday, February 2, 2008
Time: 1:00 pm at Bishop Church
Reception: Stone's Throw Golf Course in Newton, Illinois. Dinner at appx 5:30 pm
Fr. Bud is the priest
Niemerg's is the caterer - Roast Beef and BBQ Pork Loin w/ all the fixin's... :-)
DJ - still undecided... any suggestions? I loved Tammy and Jeremy Buening's.
Photographer - I have to call Jennifer Hecht tomorrow to reserve her.
Invitations - Duh Billi Jansen @ http://www.walnutstreetcards.com/.

Okay... I think that's all I got so far... so much to do... I think I'm more stressed... seeing that I don't have CRAP done is disturbing! Grrr... I think I need some chocolate. Thank goodness Chris is a complete sweetheart and bought me some Dove dark chocolate last weekend.

Also... I'm going to send a BIG SHOUT OUT to my mother who tonight calmed me down when I was bawling over something ridiculous. I am confident that she will make "take care" of this hairy situation. I guess that's what being the mother of the bride is all about. You truly cannot put a pricetag on a mother's love for her daughter. I love ya, Mom!

I think I figured it out..

I think I figured out how to have everyone be able to have their own login for this site... bear w/ me.
I will be sending emails to all the bridesmaids over the next few days... after I get everyone asked...
So, you will get an email (or have already) and you will need to click on the link in the email. At the website you will be asked to creage a google account if you don't have one already - if you don't have one click this link - basically if you don't have a blogspot already you will need to click the link. At that point you can use ANY email address you want to sign-up. It's FREE!
Over the next few weeks I will tweak the site to fit what we need.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know if you have any problems setting up an account. I want EVERYONE to be able to post to this site. With bridesmaids and usherettes that scatter across the country it is soooo important to me for us all to be able to communicate.
Thank-you for being patient with me now... and in the future... because just ask Dawn... I'm a little overwhelmed with everything at this point. Thank God she has the patience of an angel and calmed me down last weekend.

Chris and Christina... forever...

Welcome to the wedding blogspot...
I decided that all the bridesmaids and usherettes needed a place to communicate with each other. I hope everyone figures out how this works. I will email everyone the username and password so they can logon and post. I haven't figured out a way for different logon names to post on this site. So along w/ every post you can also post comments. This is a SUPER easy site. Let me know if you have any questions.
The big day: FEBRUARY 2, 2008.
Shopping in Indianapolis: September 15, 2007 - hope you can make it.
